Equinox Retreat, Cornwall

This retreat has nature at its heart. We’ll be surrounded by beautiful countryside making it the perfect location for a reset. This retreat falls just before the Spring Equinox in 2023 which is a time of balance between light and dark and celebrating new beginnings. Spring Equinox is the perfect time for grounding yourself in nature and tuning into your intuition and compassion.

Think; a restful night’s sleep in a wooden koyt, afternoons relaxing with a book, chatting with the other yogis, delicious food, grounding our feet into the earth, trips to the sea, waking to herbal tea and fresh smoothies, Yoga in the morning and evening, meditation, self-enquiry, music, breath work and beautiful people to share it with.

My intention with my retreats is to welcome people into a compassionate, healing and regenerative space. Take this time out of the rush of the world to do something for yourself. Not just self care, but a collective space of caring for one another. Connect with yourself, the natural world and each other. We will prioritise that connection with nature and getting a little bit more wild. Lets heal and liberate ourselves from work, stress or any other hardships we’re going through. Come home to yourself and come home to the earth.

Please note: All levels are welcome on the retreat, you do not need to be an experienced yogi however you will get the most out of the retreat if you have practiced yoga before. 

Location: Bodmin, Cornwall

Our venue is a beautiful village of wooden koyts. Fully immersed in nature with all the home comforts. This long weekend, life is just that little bit simpler. We will move, breath, meditate, eat delicious food and spend time doing things that just make us feel really good in a stunning location, rain or shine.

The house is where we’ll be practicing yoga, breathing, meditating, journaling & eating all together. Communal dining, delicious plant-based, seasonal and nutritionally dense whole foods, smoothies and juices prepared by our wonderful private chef.  Allergens can be catered for, please let me know when booking.

Schedule:

 (please note this is a rough outline and may change!)

Arrival Day – Thursday

  • 4-6pm: Check in, unpack and freshen up. Tea/coffee and snacks on arrival.
  • 7pm: Welcome Circle, meditation and gentle Yoga stretch out.
  • 8pm: Dinner.

Friday

  • 7:15am: Smoothies & Sunrise tour of the rainforest
  • 9am: Meditation, Journaling and Wake Up Vinyasa Yoga practice.
  • 10:30am: Big Brunch!
  • 12:30pm: Optional cold water plunge & woodland sauna trip
  • 2pm: Free time –  Snacks, rest, read a book or connect with other on the retreat. 
  • 4:30-5:30pm – Yin Yoga practice.
  • 5:30pm: Active Breathwork.
  • 7pm: Communal Dinner.
  • 8pm: Movie night!

Saturday

  • 8am: Wake up, tea/coffee and smoothie.
  • 9am: Meditation, Journaling and Wake Up Vinyasa Yoga practice.
  • 10:30am: Big Brunch!
  • 11:30am: Free time
  • 4-5pm: Yin Yoga practice.
  • 5:45-6:45pm: Sunset tour of beaver enclosure
  • 7pm: Dinner.
Check out day – Sunday
  • 8am: Meditation, Wake up Vinyasa Flow practice and closing circle.
  • 9:30am: Big Brunch, coffee/tea/smoothie.
  • 10:30am: Check out.

Pricing:


Shared Occupancy £700pp. Shared occupancy of a koyt with twin beds.

Private Occupancy £800pp. Your own koyt with a king bed. 

Both options almost sold out! 

A deposit of £250pp is required to secure your booking. The rest of the payment is due in installments before the retreat.

Please note: most of the accommodation is shared on this retreat. Most people attend retreats alone and it's the perfect opportunity to get to know likeminded people, so don't worry if you don't have a friend or partner who wants to attend with you!

Getting there:

The easiest way to get there is to drive but the closest train station is Bodmin Parkway, where you can arrange for a taxi to bring you here. PLEASE ENSURE YOU PRE-BOOK A TAXI ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE!

T&Cs: 

If we are put into a national lockdown OR a local/regional lockdown your place will be automatically transferred to when the retreat is rescheduled. 

Your deposit is non-refundable. If you personally are unable to attend the retreat and the retreat is fully booked, I will re-advertise your space and offer you a refund if the space is filled, minus a 5% admin fee. This includes – but is not limited to – illness (including Covid), a requirement or recommendation to self-isolate or quarantine, shielding, change in personal circumstances, change in work circumstances or family emergencies. These remain at your risk and do not give rise to a right to cancel or to
receive a refund unless your space is filled. You are strongly recommended to take out UK travel insurance to cover this. If you choose not to take out UK travel insurance then you accept responsibility for any loss you may incur.
